Activity highlight - English High Tea ...

This week we feature Thursday's English High Tea.

Note on Terminology: The expression "English High Tea" is what
is commonly used in the States for a mid-afternoon light meal
served with, of course, tea. Those from the UK are more likely
to refer to this activity as "Afternoon Tea" with the term
"High Tea" being used for a later and heavier meal.

The English High Tea (Afternoon Tea) will be held Thursday April
24, at 3:00 pm. Punctuality will be appreciated.

Total Cost: $40 (USD) prepaid. See payment instructions below.

The Tea will be at the Verandah Private Dining Room at the
Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas NV. The Restaurant is on the
grounds of the Mandalay Bay Hotel/Casino.

The tea menu can be viewed on line at:

http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/dlv2008/tea.pdf

Priority will be first-paid, first served. You may pay prior
to activity sign-up time if you wish, but you must be a
registered DLV attendee to attend this function.

The table capacity is 26 people, max, so sign up will close when
payment is received for 26 attendees.

Payment may be made with Paypal, to Jamie@jamierenae.com, or by
money order, sent to:

Jamie Renae
PO box 8831
Fayetteville, Arkansas, US 72703.

Payment may also be made in Cash, USD, on Monday, April 21st,
until 1 pm. Payments will be non-refundable after Monday,
April 21.

Payments, sent to paypal or PO box must be received no later
than April 17, 2008.

Payment may be made in person at DLV prior to 1:00pm on Monday.

Jamie will be at the pre-DLV activities (see Large Final
Mailing for details) or may be contacted by special arrangement.

Dress: "Daytime dressy" is preferred. Accessories such as hats,
gloves, etc. are encouraged. Jacket and tie for men.

The Verandah is a High Class facility. Appropriate dress will not
include Costumes or Club-wear. Judgments will be the responsibility
of Jamie Renae.

Parking is a medium walk, so I recommend using the Valet at the
main entrance. They do a very good job and a reasonable tip is a
small price to pay.
